Summary

Amends the

Family Law Act 1975
in relation to: interaction of bankruptcy and family law; enforcement of court orders; replacement of certain outdated terms (including introduction of the term “divorce”); recovery of child maintenance paid by a person found not to be a parent; the court’s power in relation to vexatious litigants; clarification of the rule-making power of the Family Court; and technical amendments.
